Houston- Pheonix Has Landed

As many people have heard, the almost $500,000,000 Pheonix lander has touched down on Mars and is now transmitting images for scientific analysis. We all know that it is basically looking for life or traces of life on Mars, but what many people don’t know are the extremes of entry into the Martian Atmosphere. (Yes, Mars does have air, the only problem is that it is mostly Carbon Dioxide.) Enjoy the entry video, courtesy of NASA.
