Earth Hour 2008

This year, on March 29, at 8 p.m people around the globe are turning their lights of to make a statement on Global Warming and the problems our earth is now facing. This event is being run by the World Wildlife Fund, and was first done last year in Sydney.  This year the event will include people from over 200 cities around the globe for Earth Hour. Cities from U.S. include Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix, and San Francisco. I hope everyone who hears about this event will participate. If we continue to harm the environment BAD things will happen. Already, we are feeling the effects and in only a few years we will really regret what we have done. WE MUST ACT NOW!So if you would like to sign up yourself, your company, school or organization please do at  Earth Hour US – Earth Hour 2008<script src=”http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js&#8221; type=”text/javascript”> </script> <script type=”text/javascript”> _uacct = “UA-3997900-1”; urchinTracker(); </script>

  1. I think this is awesome, man! Let’s stop sitting on butts watching T.V and driving gas chugging S.U.V’s . Instead let’s think about the future. Global warming is real, and anyone who does not accept this reality is a bigot.

  2. “Climate change” a euphemism.

  3. Research shows that global warming may actually be ending! The Earth’s average temperature dropped 1 degree last year. This calls for gosple music.

  4. Global Warming ending? Where are you getting your information, uncyclodpedia? We all wish global warming was ending but without any changes in our lifestyle, it won’t.

  5. Listen: If you are a bit unsure about Global Warming, watch the movie ” an inconvenient truth” that movie inspired me.

  6. An inconvienient truth is my favorite movie! And trust me I have a good source of information.

  7. i just bought this two part series called Planet in Peril. I would recommend it to everyone who liked An Inconvenient Truth.
